Pet Peeve #15: People who keep their Christmas lights on months after Christmas.
Across the world many people celebrate Christmas on December 25. It is not precisely the exact day Christ was born, but it is the day we celebrate His birth. Christmas is considered the most wonderful time of the year; however, it is only one day. Christmas season seems to extend to attract shoppers, but it is all over after January 1. I understand not taking the lights down, but keeping them on every night needs to be a city ordinance and come with a fine. It is Martin Luther King Day and your house is lit with Christmas lights. What are you celebrating? It is not cute! Public Service Announcement: You can not turn on any holiday lights after January 1. Thank-you for your cooperation in advance and STOP IT! Ugh!
